Blake Harper entered the adult entertainment industry at age 29 after being discovered by a modeling scout at a San Francisco gym. Over a seven-year career, he starred in more than 60 adult films and earned the "Gay Performer of the Year" title at the 2001 GayVN Awards. He also co-starred in the 2005 documentary Naked Fame alongside his partner, Colton Ford. A native Canadian who ran track in high school, Harper has worked as a registered nurse since 1989 and returned to the medical field following his retirement from performing.
