Bio:

Kali Sudhra is a performer, writer, educator, and activist, and one of the best-known names in feminist and queer adult film. She got into the industry after growing tired of seeing people like her fetishized, erased, or misrepresented. Her answer was to step in front of the camera herself, challenge stereotypes, and bring intersectional feminism to the screen.

Born in Tkaronto (Toronto), Kali is of Indian heritage and proudly racialized. She refuses to be boxed in by skin color, ethnicity, or anyone's assumptions. Her stage name honors both her roots and the Hindu goddess Kali, a figure embraced as a symbol of queer resistance in South Asian LGBTQ+ communities.

Her activism runs as deep as her on-screen work. She co-founded Otras, a sex workers' union in Spain, and openly rejects the "whorearchy," the idea that porn performers rank above street-based workers. Her position is simple: all sex work is work, and it should be decriminalized.

Off camera, Kali has worked as an English teacher, model, public speaker, and sexuality workshop facilitator, and was part of the Erika Lust Films team in Barcelona. In Canada, she ran sex-ed and self-image programs for teens. Today she creates workshops focused on empowerment, self-discovery, and anti-oppressive practice.
