Bio:

Lara Roxx is a Canadian former adult performer from Montreal, Quebec, born in 1982. In spring 2004, at age 21, she moved to Los Angeles to work in the adult industry.

Within two months, she contracted HIV during an unprotected double-penetration scene with two male performers, one of whom was Darren James. The incident triggered a temporary industry-wide production shutdown and prompted major scrutiny of performer testing and safety protocols. Roxx returned to Montreal shortly after, and her subsequent life, mental health struggles, and reflections on the industry were documented in Mia Donovan's 2011 Canadian film Inside Lara Roxx, shot over more than five years.
